Color Our World: May 22-July 31, 2025

Help Color Our World with the Summer Reading Program! Each summer, we encourage kids and teens to read books and explore fun, educational and creative programs and activities with the Wichita Public Library.

Pre-Readers (Ages 0-5)

Families can include their youngest kids in the reading fun! Set your family's goal, and pick up a log and sticker sheet to track the goal. Once you meet your goal, visit the library from June 26-July 31 to collect prizes.

Kids Read (Entering Kindergarten-5th Grade)

Set your own reading goals this summer. We have a paper log with lots of ideas for goal setting. Once you meet your goal, visit the library from June 26-July 31 to collect your prize pack and be entered into a grand prize drawing.

Teens Read (Entering 6th-12th Grade)

Set your own reading goals this summer. We have a paper log with lots of ideas for goal setting. Once you meet your goal, visit the library from June 26-July 31 to collect your prize pack and be entered into a grand prize drawing.

Adults (Ages 18+)

Summer reading is for adults, too! Read any five books or complete five activities from a list provided by the Library to be entered into a grand prize drawing. Use our printable reading tracker (available May 22) or log your progress in Beanstack.
