Unearth a Story during the Summer Reading Program! Each summer, we encourage the whole family to read books, track their progress to earn free prizes, and explore fun, educational programs and activities with the Wichita Public Library.
Families can include their youngest in the summer reading fun! Pick up a sticker sheet log or print one off at home, set a family goal, and track your progress each time you read or participate in an early learning activity together. Once you meet your goal, visit the library from June 25-July 30 to collect your free prizes.
Have your kiddos set their own reading goals this summer! Visit any library location to pick up a paper log with lots of fun ideas for goal setting, or print one off at home. Once your little one has met their goal, visit the library from June 25-July 30 to collect a prize pack and be entered into a grand prize drawing.
Teens that dig reading can also set their own goals this summer. Visit any library location to pick up a paper log with lots of fun ideas for goal setting, or print one off at home. Once your teen has met their goal, visit the library from June 25-July 30 to collect a prize pack and be entered into a grand prize drawing.
The Summer Reading Program is for adults, too! Read any five books or complete five library activities centered around this year’s theme to be entered into a grand prize drawing. Pick up a log to track your reading progress and find the list of activities to complete challenge.
Discover something new at any one of our several free events for adults, teens, children, and families throughout the summer. Whether you're looking for something educational or entertaining, you can find it at a library near you.
Track your summer reading progress online via our reading tracking website Beanstack, or download the free Beanstack app for your Android or Apple mobile device.
