United Way of the Plains beginning January 30. United Way offers income-based tax preparation assistance at a variety of locations in Wichita. United Way will help you determine your closest tax prep location and schedule your appointment. As of March 24, the United Way of the Plains is no longer taking appointments. It recommends filing taxes online for free at myfreetaxes.com.
